build your food storage - ONE WEEK AT A TIME

THE PLAN

1) each week, add items to your regular grocery list
2) get a marker for marking dates on items to aid in rotation
3) buy the largest amount you can SENSIBLY afford. It is better to buy a little and get started with your food storage program than to go in debt or put off any progress until you can afford to buy the whole year's supply at one time
4) replace items as you use them. Remember....these items are IN ADDITION to your regular grocery list
5) watch for sales or other specials. Grocery stores don't always have the best buys
6) if you miss a week, skip to the next week's list of items. Don't get behind.
7) share your "hot buys" and bargains with others

THANKFUL thursday......

(on friday)

Last week I picked my oldest son, Bo up from the airport. He has been in Montana for the last 2 yrs going to school.

I am thankful for his accomplishments
for his help around the house
for taking the trash
helping out with his little brothers
running errands for me
his easy going personality
his goals

I am very blessed.

does this mean he's home for good? I think we'll be back to town on the Sat. of Thanksgiving wkend, so we'll get to see you guys!

I'm very proud of Bo ;) Hope to see him at Thanksgiving. I'm looking foreward to seeing all of you. I even canceled Preschool on Wednesday so I can spend sometime with you.
